‘Brand Loyalty,’ a core strategy of global companies

Customer loyalty research conducted for Korean brands

Having loyal customers is a proven indicator of brand strength, much better than number of likes on Facebook or Instagram.

In today’s environment, marketing experts recognize, plan, and act upon the fact that the ideal business can be built only when category consumers are converted into loyal customers. Global brands in the United States and Europe have already incorporated loyalty measures as part of both their core strategies and research “toolboxes.”

This April, Customers Council and its partner Brand Keys, a company with history of measuring and evaluating customer loyalty of global companies such as Apple and Microsoft, will present awards to Korean companies exhibiting the highest levels of customer loyalty.

Brand Keys is a consulting company that has measured and evaluated customer loyalty, brand equity, and the drivers of in-market consumer behavior for over 30 years. Brand Keys provides consulting services to companies in 35 countries including brands like Apple, Microsoft, P&G, AT&T, Toyota, Hyundai Motors, and Samsung.

This year will be the third round of research measuring and evaluating customer loyalty in Korea. More and more, Korean companies are paying greater attention to customer loyalty measurements. As proof of this increased interest, more than 400 Korean marketing managers attended the “2016 Customer Loyalty Conference,” co-sponsored by Brand Keys and Customer Council.

The “2017 Brand Customer Loyalty Awards Ceremony” – for companies demonstrating the highest levels of customer loyalty – was a great success. Along with LG Gram of LG Electronics, 28 other multinational brands – including McDonald’s and Chevrolet – received the title of “Brands with the Highest Levels of Customer Loyalty” in their categories.

Brand Keys and Korean Customers Council will present the result of February research at “2018 Brand Customer Loyalty Conference” on coming April 18th
